problems with the site

Any suggestions. when I click on almost anything, it reads up and down the left side of the page.

Either Internet Exployer or through AOL.

Just went straight through Internet Exployer and it worked out ok. Thanks for the hint.

AOL was pronounced dead sometime around 2011.  They are still struggling for survival, but its best to distance yourself from them as much as possible.
