RunInRed 16,360
Quote John Saunders, one of ESPN’s most visible and versatile commentators and a founding member of the board of directors for The V Foundation for Cancer Research, passed away. He was 61. http://www.espnfrontrow.com/2016/08/espn-remembers-john-saunders/

AU64 10,122
Too bad...I liked him and unlike most of his cohorts he did not strike me as having a personal agenda. ESPN will miss him too.
bigbird 60,369
So sad. An icon in the industry and will be missed. Prayers for his family and friends.
AUBwins 10,064
I was shocked to see this today. I hadn't heard of it yesterday. I thought he was one of the good guys. He seemed genuine to his craft. I will miss seeing him on the air. Too many great commentators have passed recently or battling a serious disease today. Prayers for the family and friends that knew him.
