Everybody hates on the second season but I loved it.

Yes it grew on me........Ties The Greek into the big picture........Clay Davis and the corruption at the top and stringing Stringer Bell some of my favorite.....big show with a huge and talented cast......cant think of any actor that could replace a character and do half as good of a job.

100%. Even down to Chris, Snoop, Brother Mouzone, Prop Joe... Bubbles, Omar, Rawls, Lester... forget about it. Amazing.

Of course "Dream On" kicked it all for me and getting hooked on HBO shows.........well maybe The Hitchhiker 😁

Loved those shows! Smart format back in the day... 1st and 10 followed it, too... make a good show, but show some nudity for about 5 seconds every episode just in case... lol

No doubt and Snoop was the real deal.....don't even think she had ever had acting lessons...........Brother Mouzone was a true bad arse and they all knew it.....In my opinion it will be a long time if ever we such a complete series.

Agree. Probably the most complete series, start to finish, that I've watched. Only Mad Men comes close for me. True Detective Season 1 is my favorite season of a series, but totally agree with what you're saying.

Really remarkable show. And I wasn't even really able to fully appreciate the subtle ways in which historical context played a role. An entire season might have a particular mood to it if it was set in, say, 1967. Many storylines were woven in because of what actually went on at that time, and they wouldn't specifically reference it but they would suggest how some historical events, movements, etc might have played out in people's real lives. And it's just entertaining and, at times, crazy as all hell.

At the midway point of season 1 of Madmen........Really captured the time of 1960........the way women were looked at and what men expected of them........heck I remember working in the office late 80's early 90's there was an ashtray on every desk in every office and they were being used.......I never smoked but my suits reeked of smoke.......no wonder they paid for our dry cleaning...........watching a show like that makes you realize just how far we have come in this world...........oh and the wardrobe for the show is quite impressive.

We’ve been watching What We Do in Shadows(FX/Hulu), and it’s pretty hilarious at times.

Having played the games and own but failed to read the books I was impressed with the first episode of the Witcher..........Thought they did amazing job with Ciri........and Henry Cavill played a very good Geralt.........also, not that it was hard after playing games, my hatred for the Nilfgarrd is reinforced👍...........what say ye.

I haven’t checked it out yet, but it’s on the list. Mandalorian is the next serious show for us I think.

Mandalorian VS The Witcher

Mandalorian = PG (actually G) escort the baby Yoda and, along the way, kill a few bad guys.

Witcher = dude in a bad wig, R-rated bunch of nekkid wimmins, plus killing evil eminies.

That's the simplistic. In reality, as an adult, I like The Witcher better than the Mandalorian. But then, I haven't even seen the lastr 3 Star Wars movies because ..... um .....

I have been watching a lot of the documentaries Netflix has been putting out and here is what I think:

The Devil Next Door:  If you like WWII related things, this is very interesting.  It shed a lot of light onto the issue of Nazi's living in America.  Because of this, it made me want to watch Greatest Events of WWII in Color.

Greatest Events of WWII in Color:  Derek Jacobi does a wonderful job of narrating.  There were a lot of things discussed I did not even know about WWII and I like to think I knew a good deal.  It brought different perspectives of why some people acted like they did.

The Confession Killer:  It was very interesting to see how authorities bungled everything up from the very beginning.  I was also interested to learn about this subject I knew nothing about.

Don't **** with Cats:  I will warn you, if you are an animal lover this can be very difficult to watch.  I don't want to give anything way but at the end you do feel satisfied with the outcome, compared to a few other documentaries.  Very difficult to watch however and not suitable for children.

Manhunt Unabomber:  Not produced by Netflix, but is available on Netflix.  Well produced limited series with a really good/famous cast.  It helps you see into the mind of the bomber.

Conversations with a Killer:  The Ted Bundy Tapes:  It was interesting to see how he was able to do certain things and just get away with them and people close to him knew nothing about it.  It was also interesting to see how his appearance would almost change into a monster (as if he weren't already) as he got older

Manhunt Unibomber is very good. I have also seen some of the Bundy Tapes.

This is the time of year that I do not watch a lot of live TV due to all the seasons being done and football....so I go back and re-binge some of my favorites. Here are some of my favorites.

1.-The Americans- Very good time piece . Ironically it's one of my favorites but I have only seen it one time through.

2. SOA Sons of Anarchy- I got hooked on early in this show. The first 5 seasons are gold. It goes a little crazy after that but, IMHO, there isn't much better than the 1st two seasons of SOA. Kinda makes me want to start a crime syndicate.

3. Justified- I am a huge fan of both Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins. They make great enemies in this show. It took me a few episodes to get past the "Is this a modern day Walker Texas Ranger" feel but if you get character vested then it is worth the wait. Also makes me want to start a crime syndicate.

4. Sopranos- This would be my all time fav, if not for the end. My goodness it still pisses me off. Great Series though. And to top it off....it really makes me want to start a crime syndicate.

5. The Wire- Best show all around. Have re-watched a dozen times. Love it. (ps- does entice feelings about running an underground crime syndicate

6. Breaking Bad- Breaking bad makes a push towards the number one spot. Great show. Makes me want to start a crime syndicate lol.

Those are my top 6. Honorable Mentions include: Game of Thrones, Sparticus, Mad Men, Man in the High Castle, True Blood, and many more.

My easy watching shows that I can watch anytime without going in order are:

The Office, Its Always Sunny, Parks and Rec, Family Guy.

Reality shows.....there is only one .....Survivor.........and it is very close to being cut off after this past season...

I need something new to watch. Anything not on this list that is worth Binging?

This next season of Survivor looks like it may be the best one yet with who is returning.  I am surprised Joe or Spencer are not coming back although they might be back.  @GwillMac6, thoughts?
