12 point win over Spain Park to open the playoffs. They gave us a hell of a game. Jay Barker's boy is a good little QB. 

Big bad Hoover comes to town next week.

Our 1A school made it to the second round of NCHS playoffs but will catch the #1 seed  this week so it should be a long 4 hour trip back home for them this Friday night.  But...hoping for the best.  

Coach totally changed the offense after game 7 if you can imagine that...moved the QB to WR and moved the back-up to start and went to a zone-read/ triple option from what was mostly a pro-style passing game.   Transformed the offense and scoring output almost doubled overnight..

Katy HS advances to the second round in the playoffs. Next game to be determined, but most likely Cy-Ranch at NRG Stadium.

Misfortune to get the top seed in round 2......hammered....but a nice season that ended sooner than we hoped.

I love HS football....usually it's only some parents that are obnoxious and not the entire fan bases..

I officiated a first round playoff game here in Florida Nov. 10.  Our playoffs are a week behind Alabama.   The two teams we had played the week before.  Holmes County [Bonifay, Fl] defeated Chipley 40-13 in the final game of the regular season, then matched up in the opening rounds of the playoffs.    It was a terrific game.   Chipley kicked a FG at the buzzer to tie the game - 9-9 at halftime. In the 2nd half, Chipley got two TD's and led 23-9.  Holmes County comes back and gets the TD with about 3 minutes left to put them within 2.   They got the 2 point conversion to tie it at 23.   We go to Overtime.  Holmes county scores on their possession [high school OT starts 1st and goal at the 10 in case some didn't know] but MISSED the extra point.  Chipley gets a touchdown on their drive and makes the extra Point.  Chipley WINS  30-29 in Overtime.    Was a great game and a fun game to officiate.
