Parade All America Team

Today's issue of Parade has their 2004 All Ameican H.S. Team. Auburn commit LB Tray Blackmon made the team. Jerrell Powe also made the team but who knows if he will stay with Auburn or go with LSU. Antoine Smith made the team at RB. If we're lucky and end up with Blackmon, Powe and Smith, that would give us 3 guys on this year's AA team, not bad considering there are only 53 on the whole team (excluding kickers and all purpose players). But even one is more than a lot of schools get.

Maybe after he finishes JUCO, Mr. Powe might end up signing with AU. But that is two years down the road. I say good luck to him and I hope he takes advantage of the opportunities placed before him.

I'm still pissed about what he did at the allstar game. I don't want him at Auburn.

As we have already seen, "commited" doesn't mean a thing. All that you can count on is what you get on or after Feb. 2nd.
