Auburn did UGA a favor.  Their first year coach didn't even need to make a decision under stress the whole game.  Kirby even ran two "trick" plays that failed miserably showing he was a desperate coach, knowing he had to have a miracle to win this game.  No innovation from our offense in the second half was disappointing.

My assumption, which is all it can be, since I wasn't standing on the sidelines, is that the majority, if not all of the third and short passes happened after Cox was hurt and Johnson was beat up to the point of being less productive. Third and short tend to be especially punishing, because the D throws the kitchen sink at them to stop them.
