SAN ANTONIO -- Each Day at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, we'll provide a recap that covers all things Auburn recruiting. Here's the news from check-in day on Sunday:

-There's a new name on the receiver board. The Tigers have offered 4-star Oliver Martin of Iowa. Great hands. Great route runner. Faster than you think. That's the book on Martin. Notre Dame and Iowa are the presumed leaders but he could visit the Tigers on Jan. 20.

-Auburn also appears to be recruiting another receiver here, 4-star D.D. Bowie of Mississippi. He's an Ole Miss commit, but the Rebs aren't having a great recruiting year and he's open to other schools. Don't be surprised if the Tigers get an official.

-Five-star defensive tackle target Aubrey Solomon of Georgia has Alabama in front, but Auburn is in that next group and the Tigers will get a Jan. 20 official visit. Solomon says he wants to hear more from Auburn. We're told the Tigers staff communicates regularly with his mother, who's the major person in that recruitment.

-Four-star safety Devon Hunter of Virginia told us he was about to commit to Auburn before secondary coach Wesley McGriff announed he was leaving for Ole Miss. The Tigers still have a shot, but it's less than 50 percent. He needs to meet -- and really like -- McGriff's replacement for Auburn to land him. His Jan. 20 official to Auburn is still on despite McGriff's departure.

-Alabama 4-star offensive guard commit Kendall Randolph says an Auburn official visit is likely. That said, he told us he doesn't really talk a whole with the Tigers. We'll continue to track that.

-Four-star defensive end Jarez Parks of Florida will officially visit Auburn on Jan. 20. Most people think he's a Tide lean, but he maintains he is completely open-minded and will give the Tigers a hard look. He already has visited Auburn twice.

-Four-star safety and former Auburn commit Tray Bishop committed to Georgia on Sunday. When told about that pledge, one Auburn commit replied, "We don't need him." While Bishop is an outstanding prospect in our opinion with a high ceiling, the commit's point was this: He's only concerned about what the Tigers have, not who isn't joining them.

Gus and his staff needs to push harder for more 5 star guys. Seems like other get a bunch of 5 stars and we might get 2 or 3.

I feel stupid for even addressing this but we need to push hard for the guys that fit best with us. I can give you dozens of examples of 5* bust. I'll take a 3 or 4 * any day that fits us over a 5* that doesn't or has an attitude.

Just charted the game. TD looks damn good as an edge rusher. He had 2 QB hurries & in on 3 tackles. Devon Hunter was in on 4 tackles.
