43-27.  Auburn has to find some way to get the ball in the basket.  They just aren't hitting much of anything so far.

Purifoy loves that left corner you know it's not our night when a good look from there rims out for him

Id like to see some two man game with Heron and Harper both are attacking and finding good shots. That lets Purifoy move around and maybe get some easy back door looks/open threes and having our big guys waiting for tip ins/lobs which they were already doing a good job of in the first half

We always get shot out of the gym in the first half at Vandy. Nearly every time.

Hard to do anything when they've hit 8 three pointers...  see Purdue... or better yet, us against Coastal.

Tough start to conference... we'll be fine though.

And add the fact we are shooting a cozy 26.5% to the equation and it's obvious why we are getting hammered by these guys..again.

Yep. The offense has been bad. No other way to describe it. Just not their night.

Interesting that Wiley gets called for a push in the back 2 plays earlier, and just then he had position on his man for an offensive rebound and the guy comes over his back with no repercussions.

Not that it really matters. Vandy is just out there enjoying a blowout over AU.

It just seems that the suspension of Brown and Spencer coupled with the addition of Wiley really set this team way back. Not sure why it feels that way since they beat OU and UCONN, but those games were met with teams shooting even worse than AU. It also seems there's enough film on these young guys to know what their tendencies are and teams are shutting them down. That coupled with disinterested on the defensive end means AU isn't going to beat many SEC teams. Plenty of time to turn it around, but the air is coming out of the season fast. Auburn fast.
