Despite this; refugee-taking countries in the West (most of which are left-leaning) have turned away hundreds of thousands of Christian asylum seekers because quite frankly they don't match the identity-politics which they build their platforms around. You want to see some real eye-popping numbers? Of the 11,000 Syrian refugees taken in by the Obama administration in 2016, only 56 were Christian. That is 0.05% in a country which pre-war posted a population that was 10% Christian. How about Britain? Under 2%.
