I think I'll just have some tea instead.

A 1% drop is nothing, particularly in a down market. The effect of any boycott won't be known until first quarter earnings and revenue are released, so look to April for a true indicator.

So, ignore the obvious drop in stock, per date, and its continued decline,  in relation to the 10,000 refugee comments ?  ?

Got it.

Could be the Mexican boycott. Or the worldwide revulsion with our President.

Starbucks to hire 10,000 refugees over next 5 years

Yeah, you go w/ that angle.

It was a 1% drop. Not infrequent and not really indicative of anything.

You're projecting. I'm in a great mood. Baby is kicking me. :)

I guess you could say you're looking at the data, but you can't gauge how a boycott could have caused this. These small fluctuations aren't at all infrequent. They'll recover just fine. If the boycott has any effect you'll see it in April.

They may very well recover. Starbucks has been on a tear for 8 years.  This tiny 1% dip ? Just happened to coincide w/ the announcement of hiring 10,000 refugees.

As we'll see on Trump's economy, we'll see how Starbucks does. With all those Hillary voters out there, I'm sure ( when Antifa protesters aren't destroying their windows ) , all will be just fine. :)

I like how the Frog's head covers up the "y" axis.   Very clever.

This gif was produced by a weasel as well as being presented by one.

True news bugs you, so you have nothing but insults left. I get that. I really do. The dropping blue line is really all you need to see, homie.

But if you're truly doubting the data, by all means, go check out SBUX yourself, and check out the past 5 days. Seriously, don't be afraid to see what you see. :)

"True news", as in a given stock declines a couple of percent?

1 %. Don't got making it out to be what it isn't homie. Just ONE percent.

In a 5 day period.

In real time reaction to a policy of hiring 10,000 refugees.

Get it right.

The point, Raptor, is that this is not unusual occurrence. Any other time no one would notice. You're just so keen on painting a bullseye around the bullet hole that you're not seeing it.

No, the evidence is pretty crystal clear.  Cause and effect. Now, will it last ? :gofig:

Time will tell.

Does that make you feel better ? More importantly, does that change anything w/ regards to Starbucks policy ?
