Pair of Auburn graduate assistants leave for Ole Miss, Memphis

Two Auburn graduate assistants have left the program to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Ishmael Aristide and Austin Tucker, who both served as graduate assistants for the Tigers last season, are no longer at Auburn. Both updated their Twitter bios with their new schools on Monday.

Aristide, who worked with Auburn's secondary alongside former defensive backs coach Wesley McGriff, has joined McGriff at Ole Miss. Aristide announced his move with a tweet Monday morning. According to FootballScoop.com, Aristide will work as an analyst with the Rebels.

Aristide, a former safety, played at Purdue during his college career from 2009-12 while appearing mostly on special teams.

Tucker, who was an offensive graduate assistant for Auburn last season, will serve as a GA at Memphis next season.

Tucker is a former wide receiver who played at Arkansas from 2007-11. Prior to spending the 2016 season at Auburn, Tucker spent two years as the offensive coordinator at Hewitt-Trussville High under coach Josh Floyd. Tucker followed Floyd to Hewitt-Trussville from his alma mater, Shiloh Christian in Springdale, Ark., where he was an assistant. Shiloh Christian is also where Gus Malzahn coached from 1996-2000.
