Tega, Brown, C. Davis, Ruffin all seemed to make the right moves.

White down to 190 is not good.

All the linebackers close to 250 is a little heavy in my opinion for their height.  At 6-4 maybe but 6-2 or shorter I'd venture to say about 230 or lower would be ideal.  We need speed at LB not great size.

And for the weirdest statement of the day... I would hate to know our kickers were coming looking for me to kick my butt.  They are some big boys.

What the heck is Hastings doing losing weight? ;)  Get that boy some grub.

Same with JF3.  Or does he run track?

22 John Broussard Jr. DB 5-11 168 So. (NC)

49 Darrell Williams LB 6-2 247 Jr. (+16)

These 2 stand out to me for the wrong reason.

@bigbird @augolf1716 are you guys comfortable with the height/weight of our Linebackers?

240+ for these guys seem very heavy

How much of a window do these weight gains or losses give us into what the coaches/players are wanting for target weights? Just saying, it's March 1st...

Then again, who cares? I'm just glad we have something interesting to talk about.

Hard to evaluate until we see them in action .Maybe Williams added 16 pounds of muscle...

Depends. If CKS is trying to go to a true 3-4, then I don't mind my ILBs being a little thicker.  If we run the multiple D that we have been, then it seems a little hefty to me. That said, if they have gained good weight without losing any speed, then I'm on board.

I think that's been the plan.

It has. The official AU site has always listed him as a LB from the moment he stepped on campus.

Yeah but with him being a really good LB in space that could mean he will be slower which is not a good thing.

Incomplete list. Did strength & speed go up, down or NC proportionately with that weight? The bucks & run stopping middle/strong side linebackers weights for example look SEC/NFL zip code but what did their speed/cardio/strength do?
