Great job by the AU hitters to get the lead back after Ashley gave up a few runs.

1 out double and a two out single scores a run for LIU.   Auburn leads 8-4.  Infield single for LIU and they have 2 runners on.   McCrackin makes a diving stop to keep it on the infield but throw was off the mark.  Scored a single.

hard to tell, but ball was lined hard back to Abbott, off something and toward 2nd and McCrackin makes a diving attempt to catch it and it drops.     Announcers are saying it went off her glove or her hat but was hard to tell.  Impossible for me to tell here but it did knock her down.   She's up and back in the circle.

Shea with a grounder to the right side and it gets through the infield for a 2 out single.   Looks like there will be a pinch hitter here for Gipson - Carmyn Greenwood coming in.

Thanks for the PBP, WT.  Just heard B. Bowen say that the team will bus back to Auburn this morning.  I would have thought they would fly that distance.

Softball probably can't afford to fly much during the season. I'm sure the Mexico trip wasn't cheap.
