Golf or Duck hunting?

Cannot claim expertise in the rules/regs of either sport, but

did he take it home (out of season) or leave it lay (as a part of the course)?

Not all that migratory any more? Down here in Baldwin Co., they (mallards and teals) came south for the winters in my childhood but, over the course of my lifetime, more and more just ain't bothering to go back. Also interbreeding with the Muscovies (alway permanent residents here) and making some really ugly ducklings.

I actually struck a duck in the water with a ball. Par 4. Duck flew away. Ball went up the fairway. I swear.....I birdied the hole. 1983 Waco Ga.....
