A really bad pitch....and it's now 5-3 favor of LSU......the second HR against KT...kept LSU under control except for a couple bad mistakes over the middle of the plate.

Tremendous play by Holland sprinting toward the left field line and sliding into J Anthony and still holding onto the ball. That was a very athletic play there.

fortunate no one was injured.....close to a bad collision.

Damn.

Looking at 7 straight losses after being #5 in the country.

It hurts

Yep.  For those that may have doubts, that play proved these guys are putting it all out there to win. Three guys trying to occupy the same space at full speed to catch a foul ball.

It's the toughest division of the toughest league in the country for a reason.  No quarter given.

Todd with 4 hits tonight....last night it was Ingram.....can't seem to get much help from the rest of the line-up to get them around to score.

The famous  "catcher's indifference" ....Todd gets second unchallenged.

Well...that's it. KT deserved a better fate but guess he's accountable for giving up those 2 run dingers...and defense was pretty solid tonight.

The chemistry shifted just a little too much with the injuries and the mojo got away. It's taking a minute to reset. In the meantime we are not having much fun.

We need to win. If we don't win a game soon this team will start to fold up. Hopefully tomorrow is the day for victory. I'm a bit worried about their phsyche.

He was good but not quite good enough tonight. For once, the loss can't be laid all at the feet of the offense. It needs to be better, but Keegan can't make that mistake after we've battled back into the game to tie it up. That's been his nemesis lately. Really sharp for much of the game and has one or two misses them at prove really costly.

People said the uat series wasn't a big deal. Right now it looks like the undoing of this season. Time to turn it around but proof you don't take anyone lightly, especially a rival.

What sacrifices do is kill the possibility of having a big inning. It would have taken six runs to win tonight's game. Bunts, even the rare successful ones, do not produce 6 runs in 9 innings.
