Dammit. Sorry. Saw the news and noted the relative youth but not much else. Posts following yours pretty much make up my experience with his work.

That whole album was recorded as a tribute to their friend, Andrew Wood (lead singer of Mother Love Bone) who had died.

Yeah, this sucks. I'm 31 with a brother 8 years my senior. Black Hole Sun and Spoonman were fixtures of my childhood. So long, Chris. Thanks for the memories.
