Yeah, but our coaches are smarter than that.  We want to move him away from center because we know better.  Wow.:dunno:

What is the point of your post? If I'm reading it right, it's pretty stupid. You actually think someone making a crap watch list knows more about our players than our coaches? You realize at this point that there are about 65 Centers on the watch-list, right? The only thing this proves is that Golson is breathing and has a hearbeat.

Yeah, just like they knew Dampeer was our starting center last year until an injury forced them to make a better decision.  And, I've been against moving Gholson from center even before the watch list.

Info a few days stale, but couldn't figure out anyplace to put it:

"Athlon Sports recognized 10 Tigers on its projected All-SEC teams in 2017:

2.    Kamryn Pettway

3.    Nate Craig-Myers

4.    Braden Smith

5.    Austin Golson

6.    Marlon Davidson

7.    Tre Williams

8.    Carlton Davis

9.    Tray Matthews

10. Daniel Carlson"

Kam and Stidham named to the Maxwell watch list. This is, of course, only if Stidham is our starting QB.

Not sure if this is the right place, but:

17 for '17: College football's most freakish athletes

We're taking a look at the most freakish athletes in college football in the latest installment of CFB 24/7's 17 for '17 series. Freak athletes come in all shapes and sizes, but this year's group has a heavy representation on the line of scrimmage -- seven linemen in all -- and these big guys have a lot more than size and strength on their athletic palettes. You can expect all of these players to turn plenty of heads when they eventually make their way to the NFL Scouting Combine. This list was compiled in consultation with NFL scouts, NFL.com analysts and sports information directors…

 15. Braden Smith, OT, Auburn

The Tigers' senior right tackle displays ridiculous strength in the weight room with a 565-pound squat, and a 495-pound bench press that could be higher if the AU strength staff permitted him to load more weight on the bar. The highest-jumping offensive lineman at the NFL Scouting Combine this year recorded a 32-inch vertical jump; Smith can do 33, and his 9-foot-9 broad jump would have led all offensive linemen in Indianapolis this year, as well. All that, and he can run a 4.95 40-yard dash at 6-foot-6, 303 pounds. Said strength coach Ryan Russell: "The most impressive thing to me is his mobility in his ankle(s) and his hips. Normally a guy his size who is that strong and powerful will be stiff and has trouble moving efficiently. Braden's movement efficiency is incredibly smooth and is something you don't see too often with a guy that size."...’

How many people know what players we're talking about by their twitter handle?

This is more evidence we have some great players at every level.  I can't wait for 2017 kickoff!!!

Surprised to see NCM already getting preseason love.

Braden is a dad gum Hoss!  I had heard he struggled with lateral movement. Has he improved in that area?
