Your pet probably has more things on his mind than just swimming.  Probably looking forward to amplexus.  You may be denying him a fruitful moment.

I'm listening.

And slowly...

and, I believe, w./ penetration? Frogs do, however, look* like (a generalized) doggy style.

Turtles are comical.

*ETA - My biology degree is so old, it included the contraversial subject of adding a third Kingdom (Protista) to Plants and Animals. At least back then, they considered amplexus as a potential evolutionary step towards doggy style.

A few pics from the Grand Canyon. My wife and I drove here to meet her son who is currently living and working in LA. My first time here and it is truly an awesome sight. Stayed to watch the sunset at Hopi Point.

I see 8-ft alligators on my dog walk every morning. That thing is infinitely more upsetting.

This guy really needs to get his s*** together. Smoking saves frogs lives apparently.

This makes 3 of 4 times I’ve heard him jump in. The only other time I heard him was during a thunderstorm, and I’m not about to carry around a metal pole in an effort to save an amphibian’s life.

Next time I’m tossing him an adjacent backyard.

Cool!

I have seen one of those in Louisiana. No Wiley’s involved.

This one just about let Cameron get close enough to touch it.
