@augolf1716, I saw Leon Russell there sometime in the early aughts.

Leon was one of the better guys to play really small venues he would play anywhere anytime seem like. I know you know I saw him in a jazz joint in Ft. Lauderdale maybe 20 people there.............just show up unannounced started playing

A true American original. Real as it gets.

Good point-- and even the word ¨bathroom¨ (concrete wall) is used quite loosely when used to refer to the Supper Club´s facilities. 😎

A friend and former employee of mine was the touring guitarist for Leon Russell for years. He lives in Huntsville now, great guitarist.

Leon is one of the most underrated musicians ever.

"Shortly after I started playing with Leon Russell, he gave me a 1968 Gibson ES-345 that he got from Freddie King back when they worked together."

Imagine being able to speak a sentence like that and it be true.

I know, right? I haven´t seen Chris in years and I didn´t know about the guitar Leon gave him. I sure hope he holds on to it, that instrument is priceless.

I really regret never having the chance to see Leon play live.

Anyone hungry?

Not for long. Being meat cutter for Publix has perks. 2 14 oz. Prime strips. 8.99 lb. Also being a hero during this virus mess. Truly blessed. Ya'll stay safe.

And yet the shelves are still empty. Want any sandwich meat? Nah since the bread is gone too.

But maybe some water ...

Our Kroger was wiped out on pre-packaged mass lunch meat, but they had plenty of in-house deli meat.

Nice model train set at the Children's museum in Alexandria LA a few weeks ago. Pleasant surprise when visiting for my niece's birthday. 20200222_144011.jpg

I didn't even think to try the deli.  I almost walked out the store out of frustration until I took a moment and found some things on my list. Then the crowd left, and it was much better.  At this point everyone looks like a germ to me lol
