Auburn unveils 24-hour TuneIn channel dedicated to Tiger athletics

BY SCOTT BERSON

Auburn University announced Wednesday that it will launch a 24/7, 365-day radio channel on the TuneIn app dedicated to Auburn sports. It will be the first of its kind for university athletics.

Programming will include live game broadcasts, Tiger Talk commentary, press conferences and past games from football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and other coverage.

“Above all, this channel is for the Auburn fans,” Director of Broadcast Operations and Voice of the Auburn Tigers Rod Bramblett said in a press release. “We believe the combination of live events, podcasts and archived content delivered in this manner is unprecedented in college athletics. No matter where you are or when you choose to listen, the Auburn Sports Network channel on TuneIn will be there as a source for fans to get comprehensive coverage of Auburn athletics past and present.”

To start, the Auburn Sports Network plans to re-air football games from Auburn’s 2010 and 2013 seasons, as well as classic women’s basketball games and the Auburn’s run in the 2015 SEC Tournament. The channel will also highlight the 2017 baseball and softball seasons.

TuneIn is a free app that provides online audio streaming of music, news, podcasts, radio, audiobooks and more. To subscribe to the Auburn channel, download the app or go to the TuneIn website, search “Auburn” and add the channel to your favorites.
