Daniel Carlson and Braden Smith - first team

Kamryn Pettway, Marlon Davidson, Dontavius Russell, Tre’ Williams, Carlton Davis and Tray Matthews - second team

Kerryon Johnson - third team (all-purpose, not running back)

 

It will be fun to see a bunch of those guys move to first team at the end of the season, and some that aren't listed get on the list.

5 guys (at DT, DE, LB, CB, and S) all SEC. That is talent and balance on D!!!

Homeritis kicking in but Kam Pettway ran over the SEC last year and led it in rushing, and only really played in about 8 games. How does that not constitute first team.

I honestly can't argue against Guice and Chubb.  They are both VERY good.

Some comments on the list:

Jalen Hurts isn't in my top 3 of SEC quarterbacks

Us not having a single player on defense's first team is criminal. 

Other then those two notes I'm pretty indifferent. Carlson can't be challenged.

I have a feeling, the post season all SEC will have a different QB on the first team and the same QBs on second and third.
