i remember the ol cigar game. players smoking and enjoying a huge win. that being said i ran across this statement and i wonder if it is true?

In 99, we got into trouble with the NCAA and everyone had to pay for their Cigars. $1.00 each..

is this true? if so it sure was tacky on the ncaa's part.

True. Use of tobacco at NCAA events by athletes is prohibited. We paid the fine. I remember that from Rob Pate's book.

What a load of horse manure that is. So tired of big brother, and the thought police deciding what is acceptable for adults to indulge in.

Auburn has paid the price for those stogies. I have never understood why after the win Tubs didn't load em on the bus and come home. Shows you not only know how to win but win with class.

Well worth it and we should totally do it again. Or just load the bus and be classy. So torn!
