Notes on second-half scoring

During 79 victories, Auburn averaged 15.2 points per second half and were held to 3 points or less during a second-half quarter, 28.5% of the time.

During 56 games when the game was decided by 7 points or less, Auburn averaged 11.0 points per second-half. They were held to 3 pts or less during a second-half quarter, 46.4% of the time. This one really stands out because these are the close games, where scoring was vital.

During games against opponents with a win percentage of .750 or better, Auburn averaged only 9.4 points per second half and were held to 3 points or less 47.7% of time during second-half quarters.
