Games are won or lost on a handful of plays

The old saying that close games are won or lost on a handful of plays.   The LSU game was the perfect example.   

1) dropped interception before half

2) missed tackle on 4th down by Holland on the first LSU touchdown 

3) miss play by CD on pass that should have been a short gain into a big gain 

4) poor punt at midfield that could have pinned them deep

5) not converting on 3rd and 1 at midfield 

6) poor punt coverage on Touchdown 

I know that it was an awful play called game and that is complete lack leadership.   But that aside, the score was the same at the beginning of fourth quarter as it was at half time and if not for the punt return TD , I don’t think they would have scored an offensive touchdown

All those are defense. Defense could have won this game but didn't lose it.

It's not about this single game. This game was the culmination Gus Malzahn. There's a reason people haved moved on this time. This many people aren't wrong.

This^^.    Some of the insiders on the board have been down on Gus for a couple of years now, maybe longer, saying he is in over his head.    It's obvious now so we either cut bait and move on or we'll be stuck with the same or worse next season.
