Gowebb11 9,314
Seeing Kam Pettway with his quicks and jump cut back was the best part of last night IYAM. I'm obviously happy for him, but having him and KJ full speed in November is beyond huge for the team. Can't wait for kickoff at Kyle Field. WDE?!!! The Plainsman 948
He looked like his old self last night for sure. Good to see him run more north/south too.
tiger78 13
Like the offense in general, it was not until the 2nd half that he looked like his old self. From the 2nd half opening drive on, it looked like a whole different offense.

From the 2nd half opening drive on, it looked like a whole different offense. The blocking of the offensive line changed in the second half. They were pulling guards and opening assigned holes/lanes for Pettway rather than zone blocking. Zone blocking requires the back to read and react to what is going on. KJ excels at doing that, cutting and twisting and often turning what ought to be nothing into at least a little something. Bubba excels at what he does as well, it's just not that.
