Buddy Miles, no kidding? I might need to go drop some Band of Gypsys in the other thread now.

Moody... yeah, I'd go with that.

Some of my childhood favorites are songs that I've never "heard" sung (outside of my own head). I refer to the collection as "Walt"s Music." Walt Kelly would write songs (lyrics), usually one verse at a time, into his daily Pogo strip and, often, bringing them back in later seasons and adding new verses. "Deck us all..." was by far the favorite (whether his or the crowds?), and eventually collected/consolidated multiple verses into one place (below).

Alas, my favorite ("Good King Sauerkraut looked down, on his feets uneven"), seems to lack such a consolidated presentation.

Here is a very hard improvisation on the dobro from yours truly. I put mistakes and all on here. LOL. This was recorded on a cell phone. Poor quality. Nevertheless...

Had to Google theremin

I was recently reminded that the Beach Boys actually used one in Good Vibrations. Possibly the most mainstream application ever?

After googling, did you say, "Oh, THAT thing"?
