Both good points.  Either way, he just seems a step slower than I would want for a RB.  Hopefully age will bring some speed.

To me he looks quick and elusive.

Reminds me of Rudi Johnson.

Follows his blockers well and sets his blocks up well too. His top end speed isn't there yet, but will get better in the next two years.

Yeah, he’s got a lot to like about him!  Looks very good to only be a SO!!! And at nearly 200lb in 10th grade, he may be a legit hoss by the time he gets on the plains!

Well that was short lived...

After reading what KN said sounds a lot like the situation from that Trinity Christian RB from a few years ago.

Jalin Buie. We just let him slip on down. He never announced a decommitment.

Were not ready to take his commitment. It is on 247. It is not VIP.

The scoop ---

Auburn never took his commitment. When he made the move in early December, he Tweeted out a commitment to Auburn without having talked to the Tigers.

They were not ready to take it.

The Tigers didn't want to embarass Jackson so they really just kind of let it play out this way.

He is someone Auburn will continue to evaluate.
