The OP will be updated as changes are made. The most interesting OVs this week IMO are Joiner, Alaimo, Cam Taylor, & McCreary.

@ellitor   How many spots does it seem will be available for grad transfers?

I don't know. I know there is one who wants in but isn't a major target for AU now.

I think it depends on how AU closes at the high school & juco levels, particularly at OL & CB. If we only get 1 more at each position, gotta think there is a real possibility for a GT there.

On more thinking, don't be surprised if we take a GT RB if 1 is available the staff likes. Not sure what they think on the VT GT.

I’m most interested in Wonnum. Was kinda expecting him to sign with USCe early. I guess staff feels like we still have a real shot with him?

He was never going to sign early. We're a long shot but still working.

Agreed.  Wonnum is my interesting one for this visit.  Well him and Miller.  Really just want them to lock Miller down.  I don't think we can afford to lose him based on our future state of DL.

Huh? The future looks good IMO as long as kids keep developing. I think we can't afford to lose him based on the potential he showed at the UA All Star game.

I was thinking more about after next year.  We didn't get many interior DL last year and Coynis is really our only interior DL this year.  After next year, we will have several SRs and we will have several JRs that will likely jump to the NFL.  We are going to need him and any other big men we can find to fill those holes.

Long time commit Daquan Newkirk says Sup & I can play 3 years.

Unless you are counting Marlon as a DT then Brown is the only 1 I see there. Yes 2019 is a big year for US on DTs but it's that way virtually every year.

Yeah I was counting Marlon as a DT because he rotates through there more than a true DE would.  Yeah, Newkirk is 1 to have, but 2 interior DL per class sure doesn't give you much room for a project or a hit\miss type situation.

Maybe but that's Garner's average size & it seems to have worked well overall so far.

Traveon Samuel from Louisville has announced he’s transferring as a GT. We recruited him as an RB out of HS. But played slot at UL. You think we touch him? From Phenix City fwiw.

IMO no. Doesn't appear to be an every down back.

You’re correct. Used him in random situations at Louisville.

Saw him in HS but never in college. Agree on the talent and on SS.

So what about Nathaniel Watson?

Is he a take?

Unlikely. Alaimo appears to be the top TE/HB target.

Are u surprised we didn't consider him as a DE/Buck? He played LB at 6-4 215lbs. Looked pretty good on D.

Not explosive but powerful.

Nope. Jibunor & Tannor were the top Buck targets for a long time this cycle.
