I was just giving an explanation to the questions asked. I didn't say or imply people should place stock in it. Recruiting sites put too much stock in Summer camps. It's mainly pointless for a position like RBs where you are running & going against air.

There is very little simulation to a real game & little you can take over from those events to actual games. I'm sure he is focused on his SR season. Lastly if he chooses to be smart he ain't going to pay 1 damn bit attention about a ratings drop. If summer camps are meaningless for RB's, how do their ratings drop because of summer camps? Something isn't making sense.

Cain had a nagging leg injury this summer too. He was not able to fully participate in the camps at 100%. This can big time effect his ranking, but at 100% he would have had much better camps. I’m going to be biased Auburn fan here but let’s look at the options Oklahoma - a team that’s about to be on the decline and hasn’t played for a NC in a while. LSU - a team that’ll eventually realize coach O isn’t going to be a long term answer. Third place in the division is really their ceiling with him. Texas - they’ve been a joke for a while. Sure it might be home to him but you shouldn’t be impressed by their constant underperforming. Penn State - solid team that did good things with SaqB but James Franklin isn’t a NC coach. They’re interesting every year until they drop a stupid game or two that they shouldn’t. More of a wrestling school anyways and it’s cold af. Ohio State - whenever they spell out their name all I hear is O-VERRATED. Urban Meyer does less with more talent than anyone. If he were the coach at UCF last year he’d probably of dropped at least 3 games. It’s also cold up there lol. Then there’s Auburn, Noah. I know what you’re thinking. “Man that school doesn’t do any dirty recruiting though and they’re not lying to me to inflate my ego.” But hear me out, there’s no better place to be a running back than Auburn. Hold on to the ball and you’ll break 1,000 yards every year. We have some of the most beautiful women. Our school actually educated it’s students. The weather is perfect for football. Our colors and uniforms are definitely better than anyone else’s on the list. Your coach played here and the food ain’t half bad. Come home to Auburn Noah and ignore these other programs. Come have a legitimate chance at being a champion.

They did just play in the College Playoffs this year and should have beaten UGA except for some very Gus like calls at the end of the game. NorthGATiger 1,801
This is what Ugag is showing the RB recruits. It is an easy sell to 5* kids at the position and easy to negatively recruit against us. I'm not saying that I agree with everything rival coaches are saying, just that it is an easy sell for UGA. UGA rushed for 3748 yards total. AU rushed for 2464. That is being outrushed by KJ's total yardage for the season. Chubb had 62 fewer rushes but only fell short by 46 yards. WOW! Sony had 129 fewer rushes and only fell short 164 yards. That tells the story. If you want to argue that the amount of rushes did not kill KJ then look at the ypc and see what it took to get them compared to thers.

There's no telling what AU's would have looked like had Pettway's season not gone into the crapper. In any case, if our recruiters can't overcome some negative recruiting, they are at the wrong place and on the wrong job. Other schools have always negative recruited against Auburn. If it's not one chart it's another one, if not one "reason" it's another one. This will always be there. We need to figure out how beat it or hire recruiters that can. It is discouraging if you have a healthy Pettway with 156 carries like Sony and KJ with 223 carries like Chubb and Kam Martin with 81 carries like Swift when you look at the numbers. I will use KJ's ypc for Bubba since his ypc were lower due to injury or whatever. KJ- 223 for 1093 at 4.9 per Bubba- 156 for 764 at 4.9 per Martin- 81 for 494 at 6.1 per Total for AU's top 3 backs- 2351 Total for UGA's top 3 backs with equal attempts- 3190 This is why we can't compete with good backs. We need better quality.
