Whoa! Becky relinquishes her belt to be a Mum! Perfect way for me to see her not champ again. That looked very genuine and so happy for her and Seth! That’s awesome for her and for the business.

The Becky segment was the only thing I've watched of WWE since Mania.  The product is just soooo bad right now.

All in AEW.

Completely agree.  WWE is so very lost on their direction.  I watched the rest just to see but it's terrible.

Great Becky article but with the premise of what can happen if WWE just lets the talent tell their story.  I'll just post the link below.

Vince has run wrestling into the ground. Somewhere along the way it has turned into less wrestling action and more of a soap opera. It is predictable and stale.

I find myself watching the old WCW shows from the late 80's to the point to where Vince bought out WCW in 2001. The wrestling talent is way better, the story lines are not too outrageous, and the actual wrestling matches are more enjoyable to watch. Like what the AEW is doing so far, they just need more star power.

You should check out NWA Powerrr on YouTube.  It may be right up your alley.

So what's your new plans now that Double or Nothing changed? Holding onto a reserve ticket to Jacksonville in case they allow fans??

Nah.  My wife and our couple friends who were going have altered plans.  They live in Nashville and we're in Austin.  Since no one can really fly, we've rented a condo on a lake in Arkansas about halfway between us for Memorial Day weekend.  Gonna hang out fish, kayak, play golf and watch the show on PPV.

Not a bad backup plan.

AEW was great tonight.  They benefited from a fuller roster.  They have been on par since going live again.  The fatal 4 way women's match was intense, almost dangerously intense as there were a few botched effort moves most likely due to ring rust.  But they pretty much caught each other before they got hurt.  Very entertained from the beginning.  Oh and Matt Hardy has looked great in AEW.

Oh I loved the Nyla Rose segment with the Shida. I found your Kendo stick B***h.

Drew Gulak is gone from WWE

Quote

Drew Gulak No Longer With WWE

By Kellie Haulotte | May 16, 2020

As reported earlier, WWE moved Drew Gulak to the Alumni section of their website.

Gulak is reportedly no longer with WWE. PWInsider reports that Gulak was not released, but his contract expired after last night's SmackDown was taped.

WWE and Drew Gulak were trying to come to terms on a new deal. Since his WWE contract expired, Gulak doesn't have a 90-day non-compete clause so he can wrestle anywhere at any time he wants.

Gulak's last WWE match was last night on Friday Night SmackDown against Daniel Bryan. It was an Intercontinental Championship Tournament match, which he ended up losing to Bryan. The match received a great response from fans online.

The former Cruiserweight Champion debuted with WWE in 2016.

After thinking about it, I bet it’s Zach Ryder as the last ladder contestant. I think the no way to Zach was a smokescreen.

I've seen Brian Cage's name mentioned as a possibility. He would be a great addition to the roster.

Good to see the return of Hangman Page tonight. Interested to see how the tension between him and the Young Bucks & Omega plays out.

Where is Brian Cage from? Yes glad to see the Varsity team return. That Orange Cassidy Ray Fenix match was fantastic throughout before the cheap finish. Oh and I bet Fenix hurt himself tonight. That was a nasty miscalculate fall

He last wrestling for Impact and left when his contract expired at the end of the year. Also took time off due to an injury.

Last few years has also been on the Indy circuit, wrestled with lucha underground etc.

Here he is in action from a couple years ago against Bobby Lashley.

Woo hoo ready for All or Nothing! I think it will be a fantastic show.  Lot of rumors about potential happenings or possibilities and I can't wait to see how it transpires.  It is definitely unfortunate for the injuries from Wednesday show, especially Britt.  They had actually built up to have 2 solid women's matches.  Her replacement is Penelope Ford, whom I do not mind watching at all ;)

There will definitely be a big surprise or two.  Too bad no Pop from the crowd though.  Either way fun times to be had tonight.

PS, I prefer these Saturday PPVs over Sunday at least until college football is back.

Double or Nothing was overall widely entertaining.  The Stampede match was crazy fun. Adam Page chasing Sammy on a horse, or Matt Hardy multiple versions, and the top notch finish to the match.

Shida vs Nyla was fantastic! Great from bell to bell.

Oh my gosh, Orange Cassidy was freaking hilarious.  Laughed so hard during his match.  He is gold!

Deonna Purrazzo appears to have gone to Impact.  Missed opportunity for AEW IMO, especially with Britt out.

Curious what Adam Cole does when his contract is up this summer.  Other than Britt's girlfriend, he's buddies with a lot of Elite guys and has attended AEW parties obviously with Britt. That would be a homerun hire and he would excel in AEW before Vince ruins him.
