If you change the first letters in Matt Hill's first and last names, he becomes Hatt Mill, or HM, which is DB x2.

We do if we move an already committed WR to another position...say safety or something

Early on in the process, the scuttlebutt was that Hill would only sign with AU if he was going to be a WR only. It seems that recently he's become more interested in playing DB here. This scenario works best for AU, and probably Hill too.

I understand that, but I'm not a fan of overstocking.

B.P.A. I am not a fan of wasted schollys though. No need to reach and take a guy just for the sake of taking them if we can get a really talented player. Even if it is at a position we are loaded at already for this cycle.

I think he’s a very good receiver but I still think Jackson looks like he’d make a heckuva safety (like Ricardo Louis to me)....

Ricardo should've been a safety. Could've been an all-american

I think Hill is safe for us. See all CBs 100% for us.  I am going out on a limb and predicting Woonum and Caleb Tannor as the 2 additions to the list and Gouriage as a slight possibility.  The big tackle Anderson will sign with us in March or whenever he has set a date.  Just the Doc's gut feeling after a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios!

Much better chance w/ Gouraige than Wonnum FWIW.

I trust your insight 110%. Is Gouraige rated better than Wonnum?  It will be fun come NSD.  I cannot wait till the letters start rolling in. Gonna be a good finish to December early signing date. I would love for 2019 to have all 25 signed in the December early dates.  Then we can sit back and watch all of the other teams sweat it out, while we are sitting in the captain's seat of prosperity!

Yes

How many OL do you see us signing in the 2019 class?  I heard we will be hard and heavy signing players for the DL for 2019. Will we have 25 slots for 2019? A lot of questions, but you are one of, if not the best source we have for recruiting information. I appreciate what you bring to the table my friend!

Can't even begin to guess on that. AU Recruiting Reporters don't even have that info.

Depends on if we use all 25 in 2018 and attrition.

Any longshot at getting a JR day visitor to commit?

I know it is early but we have 2, another 1 or 2 would not hurt?

"Won't know now until they have left and the visits are over, unlikely though"

@ellitor am I doing it right?

No clue. AU rerporters are still mainly focused on the 2018 class.
