True they do, they also do it when people play Army who was really good during that period of time. I personally like to remind Alabama fans that Princeton is superior in the classroom and on the field and would have more than 24 NC's if they didn't leave FBS to give others a chance.

The Auburn loss to South Carolina was in 1933. I have a couple of good friends that are Gamecocks. Every time they roll around on our schedule I remind my buddies that the last time USCe beat Auburn, FRD was president and Hitler was just getting started in Germany.

We started off 0-3...I sat through the 86 Cotton Bowl which was Bo's last game at Auburn.  That was a miserable day, temperatures in the 40's and A&M shut us down in the second half.

Losing the UGA lead still makes me mad to this day. We had a pretty sizable lead too.
