Here is one opinion of the greatest comebacks in FB history.

I’ll never forget that game. Never been so stressed. Wife had to work ( Black Friday) had the two year old myself. Couldn’t even drink a beer.

That was the weirdest game for me. For some reason, I wasn't nervous. I had 40-50 people at my house, all collectively freaking out and I was literally thinking to myself "Why do you feel like there's nothing to worry about? What's wrong with you?", especially considering how stressed out several other games made me. I guess, deep down, I felt like, after every close call we had that year, Cam was going to do whatever it took to win the Iron Bowl.

Not sure if it's worthy of this list in a "national" perspective but I was at the '94 - Auburn / LSU game.  Matter of fact we were 2nd row in the very end-zone where all the INT's were returned.

I couldn't speak or hear for 2 days after that game.

If there was a list of most unusual comebacks, that and Punt bama Punt would have to be near the top.

I've seen four 20+ point comebacks in person, two with AU and two with Michigan State.  Every one of them was dumbfounding to watch.

“Alabama opened the contest with 24 consecutive points before Cam Newton ran for a 5-yard score just under three minutes before halftime.

Then, with 4:10 remaining, Newton found Philip Lutzenkirchen for a 7-yard touchdown as Auburn took its first lead of the contest.”

Has the writer ever watched the game? Even once? Much less check the box score before writing the article? 

Cam passed to Blake for the TD at 5:08 before halftime. He never ran 5 yards for a TD. Ran for a 1-yard TD in the 3rd Q. And the Lutz game-winner came with 11:55 left. 

Massive fail.

I was about ready to just turn it off and take my kids to the park during that game. I always think how crazy it would have been had I done that and only checked the score after the game.

Ha, I don’t have the game memorized (even though I did the painstaking work of putting the AU Network audio ove the SEC broadcast) but I knew that 5 yard TD wasn’t right. I couldn’t picture in my head that run and I thought for a second I had forgotten that moment.

I witnessed the Cam-back in person! One of my all time favorites. The bammers were giddy at half time and most of them had on $cam Newton stickers. It was definitely a sweet victory!!! They were in shock.

How many comebacks did we have that year? 4? 5? Even after all that, I was still really worried about coming from that far behind against Bama. They were a really freaking good team and we had a few breaks go our way for once. lol

I remember Ivan Maisel, (don't know if I spelled his name correctly) had a great article aboutique the game and I especially loved his closing remark, "It took bama 40 years to get over "punt bama punt. It may take them another 40 years to get over this loss."

The camera turns away just as he's flipping off the AU fans in the crowd after celebrating his last TD at about the 34:27 mark.  I've seen a picture someone took from the stands of this classic show of turd sportsmanship.  He got his comeuppance, though.  After being sacked hard to the ground in the 4Q, he's shown being escorted off the field barely able to walk & appearing to be looking out the ear-hole of his helmet.  Go watch after the 2:32:32 mark for a good laugh.
