Baseball vs Bryant Game 3

Recommended Posts

Angelini and Panno still swinging it well for Bryant.  Single and a double respectively in the top of the fourth to take the 1-0 lead.  Auburn hitters still trying to figure out the soft tossing lefty for Bryant.  Tiger freshman Tanner Burns throwing the fastball up around 95-96...that's not your average crapperware.

Morgese is confusing AU with his off speed pitches.

I actually think he's got the ump a little confused as well...that curve ball on the arm side is off the plate as often as over.  He has been eager to call it a strike every time.

Tanner Burns looks like the second coming of Keegan Thompson

Auburn catching a couple of breaks in the bottom of the 7th.  Wright leads off the inning by lining a ball past a diving LF for a double (probably should have been an error) followed by a misplayed sac bunt by Holland, ball bunted right back to the pitcher and he promptly throws high to the 3B putting runners at first and third with nobody out.

AU ties the game 1-1....some loose play by Bryant ....missed double play, and catcher sails one into CF on stolen base by Jarvis who goes to 3rd.....but next batter is a K and we are at 1-1 so it's up to the relievers...

Anyone against letting Coker get a look at a weekend rotation spot?

Not sure about that, I think he's a once through the rotation kind of guy.  Middle relief or set up.

Josh Anthony should get a chance to see a fastball with the bases loaded and two outs.

Wow, saw 7 straight.  Finally drew the walk.  3-1 Auburn.  Bases still juiced with two out in the bottom of the 8th.
