Johnson quickly bounces into a DP 6-4-3 and that rally was quickly squelched. AU64 10,122 Posted March 7, 2018 Author Share Posted March 7, 2018 Leadoff batter gets a base hit and UAB hitters have touched up the AU staff pretty well....other than the free bases they have also gotten...lots of their guys have been on base. And UAB runner steals 2nd so he's in scoring position no outs.....still looking or sac bunt... Next batter flies to Estes in CF......runner advances to 3rd on the sac fly .... OMG....UAB's leading hitter takes it yard and now it's 8-2 ..... Bad night for our pitchers against a team that has not done much at the plate this season. Everyone loses. Go look at LSU's midweek games last year. They got beat by a lot of bad/mediocre teams, yet all the Tigers did was win the SEC and play for the National Title.
