What about the stat that UAT's Alexis Osorio put up today?  She had 21 strikeouts in a 7 inning game. That ties an NCAA record that can never be broken.

Time for a pitching change, CMD needs to pull her.

When is going to graduate for crying out loud? Seems like she's been pitching there forever.

LSU gets a base hit up the middle and an error by Veach puts runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs.  Long sacrifice fly scores one.  Carlson is pulled for Harris.

Nice play in CF by Draper but now LSU has  a run and a runner on second....and that ends Carlton's night.

AU pitchers looking pretty good but not getting much support on offense....sure do need to put up some runs.

lsu player pops it up on a bunt attempt, Perry charges to attempt a catch and Perry and the batter collide HARD.  Perry finally  up.  Now the batter is getting up.   That was a hard collision.

Andrews should be out!  That is textbook interference!  Batter runner interfered with the defense attempting to make a play on the batted ball, doesn't matter that the ball was foul.  THAT IS BS!  should be out of the inning, but no, and then lsu scores another!  CMD should have argued that call.

Pass ball should have never happened. Clearly interference not called that would have ended the inning.

It was a foul ball. Interference can't be called on a foul ball.

After 4 complete, Auburn trails 2-0   Got to find away to wake up the bats.  McCrackin, Rivera and Tannon Snow coming up

Hate to see that second run come in.....and we have only one hit and have not threatened yet.....good time to get started with some offense.

Wrong.  If the defensive player is making the initial play on a batted ball, and the offensive player interferes with her ability to make the play, it is INTERFERENCE.  Had nobody been there to make a play and the ball hit in foul territory but then bounced into fair territory it would be a fair ball - you don't if that was going to happen.  The fact is Perry had a chance to make a play on the ball and the LSU batter ran into her.  Interference!

This was on a pop-up, in the air, I do agree that if the ball had hit the ground and was contacted in foul territory, then it would have been a foul ball and no interference at that point.  But the ball was in the air when contact was made.

I am a softball umpire and know the rule.

We just can’t hit a ball hard just baffles me that this pitcher is doing this.

It's surprising since we have gone twice through the order.  I just want to string a few hits together.  Only 2 groundout and the ball by Draper that was called a hit. Need to get on base.
