foul ball and Podany goes to try to get it and is down.  Replay shows she stumbled a bit and face planted the wall as she fell.  Looked bad but looks like she's up and able to stay in the game.

Overall the pitching has been great this year.  We allow too many lead-off base runners.  Puts a lot of pressure on the defense, more so it seems in softball with the heavy emphasis on small ball. We did a great job getting out of it. Let's score runs.

Great throw by Shea to 2nd on the bunt attempt to get the lead runner.  Then a rocket back to Veach that is caught to end the top 5th. Tigers lead 1-0..   Rivera, Dowell and Podany coming up.

Missed Dowell's at bat.  Podany lines it hard up the middle and off the pitcher toward 3rd and Pdany is safe at 1st.  Draper coming up.  Podany steals 2nd and if she had kept watching Dean, she would have been at 3rd.

Draper with a chopper up the middle, and it goes off the glove of the short stop and into center.  Podany scores and Auburn leads 2-0.   McCrackin  up with 2 outs.

McCrackin with a terrific at bat (16 pitches) and she singles to left,   Draper scores from 3rd as the throw home is late and McCrackin takes 2nd on the throw.  That was a terrific at bat.  She had crushed one that was high enough to be above the foul poll when it went out but was foul.  It was absolutely crushed.

I don't recall seeing a ball hit that deep and high in softball.  Glad she won that battle.

OMG... Unbelievable play by Auburn.  Grounder up the middle, Dowell cuts off, flips it from her glove, McCrackin bare hands it and throws to 1st to complete the double play.   #SCtop10.  That was terrific.
