Carlson dealing tonight.   Sets them down in order.   Rivera, Dowell and Podany coming up.  Let's get a run or 2 here.

Carlson really has her stuff tonight .....just froze another batter with the change up.....girls look helpless when she sends that pitch their way...

Rivera loops one to left.  Left fielder lost the ball and it drops fair.   Rivera keeps running in case its dropped and she slides in safely at 3rd to lead off the 6th.   Dowell up.  no outs.

Auburn sends up Fornis to pinch hit for Dowell and she drops a bunt down throw comes home but Rivera never moved, Fornis safe at 1st and now steals 2nd.    Podany up still no outs.

Podany slow roller down the line at 3rd, throw to 1st in time after the 3rd baseman looks the runner back.    Back to the top of the order.  Draper up.  Runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.  We have to get one of these in.

Draper grounds to 2nd, throw comes home but Home plate umpire rules Draper out of the box on the hit and the runners return to their previous bases.

Draper steps out of the box again....and we lose a run....ugh....but it was pretty clear.

Rivera was out by a mile at home anyway.  It didn't cost us a run, IMO.

But, was the catcher obstructing?  We will never know what the call would have been.

Yep...who knows....might depend on the ump but he had called Draper out before he even looked at the play at home.
