But not insinuating that it is a "bad sign" for Trump? Got it.

Didn't do that. He said "don't assume it's a good sign."

He doesn't. He was disabusing Salty of the notion that this might absolve Trump.

NolaAu? Has Trump gotten down to you yet as an attorney?

Counseler, you need a vacation.   Your second sentence only confirms it.

my gosh, it's not about it being a "good" or "bad" sign at all.

"I wouldn't assume this is a good sign for your idol."

When a person asserts "this isn't a good sign" they are typically insinuating that it's a "bad sign." In this case, he was referencing Trump. That's how I read the comment. My gosh. If he wasn't then take my comment as free education on warrants.

If you're going play hardball just for the sake of playing hardball, then by all means be my guest. You honestly would hold that when one says "this isn't a good sign," they aren't insinuating the obvious - i.e., that "it" (whatever it may be) is a "bad sign?" Good grief. You're not a dumbass Dub. Get real.

and you never really answered.

Did you read my posts regarding how these are unrelated matters?

What are you asking exactly?  Why would you even ask the question? (seriously)

Once again, Tex didn't unequivocally say "this is a bad sign." He said "don't assume this is a good sign."

Warriors for rationalism and critical thinking!

But let's keep to the substance and avoid the defensiveness, OK?

No. He said, "I wouldn't assume this is a good sign for your idol  My gosh, you cannot be this ignorant of the obvious.

So its irrational to infer, when one says "I wouldn't assume this is a good sign for your idol," that the speaker insinuated that "this" (whatever it may be) is a bad sign?

Correct. Salty's first query was "does this mean there's nothing to the Russia stuff or obstruction?"

Tex's reply "I wouldn't assume this is a good sign for your idol."

And that's true. You shouldn't because none of us know either way.

Are you sure you're an attorney?
