Lead off double for Will Holland, but we don’t even move him to 3rd. Butch needs to think about bunting in those situations right now. We need runs and these guys can’t get it done swinging the bat right now

It is amazing how quick the wheels can come off when DD is pitching.   Looking great and then all of a sudden before CBT can even get someone warm in the bullpen he is in deep trouble...:dunno:

Shoot. DD getting hit. 2-0 MSU on a 2 out 2 RBI single.

Yep. Not sure why DD struggles in the way he does. Things go south for him so fast. Now AU is down 5 runs.

Oh my....another hit and it's 5-0 in the 3rd ......all with 2 outs.  Does not look like the guy who finished the 2nd inning only 20 minutes ago.

DD has a long way to go IMO. He can look good at times but when he leaves one pitch up, he starts leaving everything up. To be a good pitcher, you’ve either gotta leave it up and have incredible stuff or get the ball down in the zone. Daniel struggling this year.

Estes with a bunt single to start the B3, then Anthony promptly watches two pitches right down the middle and swings at a slider 12 feet out of the zone. These guys’ approaches to the plate are really bad right now

Venter takes a pitch down the middle, then swings at one that almost hits him in the shoe tops. Proceeds to hit one a mile but foul. Then strikes out. Really disappointing, but Auburn does chip away- 5-2 MSU going to the fourth.

DD leaves an 0-2 pitch with no runners on up in the zone and MSU gets a lead off double from their 9-hole man batting .188. Things continue to get frustrating for DD. His day is done and Andrew Mitchell on to limit the damage.

Daniel is leaving pitches up when there is absolutely no need to. I know it’s not easy, but you should never throw and 0-2 pitch above the belt unless you’re throwing it out of the zone high. There’s no need to even try that, especially with no runners on base.

I feel for DD. He has great talent but he is still a project.

Been several times this season our Saturday starter hasn’t gotten out of the fourth/fifth and it really taxes our bullpen for Saturday/Sunday. It’s time to move Tanner to Saturday
