Comes back with 2 quick strikes....and then a long fly to LF that Ward chases a long way and catches at the warning track in left center...

That was quick.....and out #1 for AU.on one pitch?

Holland at bat and goes down on 3 pitches....or maybe 4 but Singer back on target   ...did not take long with Holland

Williams at bat with 2 outs...getting some pretty solid fouls...but goes down swinging to end the inning.....Singer saved his arm that inning.

Noticed the past few games AU hitters being more aggressive early in the game.  Not the approach to put pitches into an arm but has been effective the past two weekends

AU was doing much better against Singer early in the game.  I'm afraid that was their chance and they didn't take advantage of it.

Mize gets a K on Dalton....big hitter also...drove one long down the LF line but foul and then M send him chasing one in the dirt for the K

Mize got behind on batter...got the count to 3-2 and then walks him...first walk of the game....2 outs now.

Mize pushing 100 pitches now.....will be there when he finishes this inning....Coach Smith out to chat with him and slow him down to get the last out.
