But I'd still rather have vipers under my house then one in the laundry basket.

At least he doesn't have a rodent problem.  Pack rats (wood rats) and mice have cost me more than $1,500 over the last 40 years or so, mostly from damage to vehicles.

Hell, I might pay for some rattlesnakes!

One of the more enjoyable threads I recall thanks to Brother Homer and his laundry. Timber rattler and copperhead from riding around on golf cart past week at Grand National.
