Yikes.....the gators are catching on to Campbell. This inning will probably be his last.

Yep...things can change quickly with college pitchers....and five inning is probably more than the coach expected.....did a good job tonight.

did you read the piece you posted the link to?   ....and he was not well known unless you were a major football fan.   But...been together 8 years now so he's probably way ahead of the marriage statistics these days....

Yep...makes one wonder where he found his pretty wife?   Gotta have some respect for a guy who can convince a woman like that to marry him.

That was one helluva recruiting job.

Meanwhile, the CWS is moving along and the piggies are holding off the gators and still lead 5-2 .  If they win this game the are in the finals and will have the best pitching situation of any team....having played only 3 game to this point. ..top of 7th.....

Dang….there it is again....pitcher just cruising along and just like that....can't throw a strike and gives UF two base runners via walks.... with only one out...and he might be gone....did not give the next pitcher much time to get ready but manager is out to the mound to stall a little bit and give the new kid time to get warmed up.

OK....he gets one more chance....and UF batter is helping him...swung at a clear ball....and he gets K with a pitch that should have been hit.....a batter's dream, breaking ball right down the middle....

And a ground out to 3B and the gators strand 2 runners and piggies keep their 5-2 lead.

Yes. Did you? I never claimed he was internationally famous. But he wasn't unknown either. That was the point of his lie.  That story was about the FIRST night they met. She knew he was a coach when she said yes to the life of being a millionaire's wife. He's over 20 years older and rich. She has a cushy life so why would she not stay with ol' Bert.....that's how it works. They both get what they want.

"Some of us know how Bret Bielema, the head coach at Arkansas, met his wife. While he was at Wisconsin, he went to Vegas and met his wife, Jen, at a casino."

Probably a teacher or nurse out there with friends looking for some fun..... "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas".....happens all the time I bet. Need to get your mind out of the gutter belle....

He’s actually only 15 years older. I know it’s hard to believe he’s not 50 yet lol. He wasn’t nearly as fat when they met though.

I read in an interview that at the time it was written.... said he was 48 and she was 27.....so 21 years between them. He was still carrying a gut even at Wisconsin. But like I said they both get what they want. As long as he stays out of the SEC with his whining about high speed offenses I don't care what he does. And I never cared who he's with.

She was a model and had a "background" in finance.....whatever that means. And her family is from......Wisconsin.

Sadly, two of the final three teams are from the SEC. Go Beavers!

Three of the last four standing were from the SEC and two of those from the freakin' west...not one of those LSU.  And I still contend that Ole Miss was the most talented team in the country top to bottom this year.  I guess it really does just mean more.

Ole Miss would've been fun to watch in Omaha.

Yep..but gotta get there first....had all the advantages of playing on their home field and probably the easiest regional and could not get past Tenn Tech of all people.

I thought LSU would have done better but Oregon State showed them no mercy. .....two brutal losses by the Bengal tigers.

Don't have a good feeling about the game tonight as far as MSU is concerned.
