I disagreed with him often, particularly on the subject of the Iraq war and AGW, but I did enjoy his column as he's a good writer. May the Lord bless him and keep him in his most trying hour. I didn't know that he was paralyzed or that he graduated from Harvard Medical School or that he wrote speeches for Walter Mondale (a democrat for you youngsters). If you notice few threads are started in the regular political forum anymore because almost all threads degenerate into something besides the OP.
