Saskatchewan cornerback Nick Marshall returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown as the Roughriders opened the 2018 Canadian Football League season with a 27-19 victory over the Toronto Argonauts on Friday night.

Marshall's former Auburn teammate Tre Mason also made his CFL debut with Saskatchewan on Friday night. Playing in his first game since he was with the NFL's St. Louis Rams in 2015, Mason ran for 37 yards on five carries, with a long run of 15 yards.

I wouldn't necessarily call this "showing out", but glad he is back in the game

I wonder how tempted that coach is to at least run a couple of read option plays with Marshal and Tre. Those 2 were damn near unstoppable with that play. I blame them for breaking Malzahns ability to innovate on the offensive side of the ball but it sure was fun watching them run around by and through every team we played even though they knew exactly what plays we were going to run.

I'm not. I'm worried about his health and his future.

37 yards on 5 carries = 7.4 yards per carry. That's better than his Auburn average. I agree. His long term health is of greater concern. But that is his decision, not ours, to make. Good luck to him.
