Idk where these numbers came from, but that just can’t be right.  Perhaps the numbers are “first place votes” in the division. ?‍♂️

No, you're not seeing it correctly.  Alabama got 20 POINTS, which made them last in the SEC West. AU got 38 points, good for next to last, Arky's 90 points put them first, and so on.
