2 things.

1) Where is Smoke?  Maybe I don’t know what his real name is but I don’t think he’s listed on here.

2). I gotta believe Cord is 3rd string and Gatewood gets redshirted.  Cord May even overtake 2nd as he practices and learns the playbook.  He’s too old to ride the pine this year.

Cord hasn’t played football in years. No word on how he is even doing. I would be shocked if he jumped MW this year at all.

He's got full eligibility remaining and is still a year or two away from entering his physical prime. If any other P5 programs actually offered him a scholarship, it wasn't more than one or two. Like @DAG said, the dude hasn't played football in years.

If he's better than those guys, great. Otherwise there's no reason to put him on the field.

I'm very concerned. According top this depth chart it looks like we'll only be playing 10 guys on defense. What the hell is Gus thinking?

I don’t think Crepea got that list from Gus.

CoxBacker

You knew it was coming. Washington is going to hang 70 on us.

Attention safeties and corners, your positions have been cut...in half.

Can't believe it took 9 posts for this discovery. This loss is on Gus.

Fact, although I hope he gets more touches this season. Cox and balls are a winning combination.

I was surprised to see that we have 2 guys named Sal Cannella. One is a senior and the other is a junior. Each is listed for two positions.

He's good at penetrating the defense.

I look to see us going 2-3 deep in our defensive rotation for most positions. The talent and experience are there to rotate men at will especially the front 7.  I see very few weaknesses in our defensive rotation.

This continues to surprise me. We have a pretty decent track record of transitioning players to different positions.

As Smoke’s man crusher I will say that I too didn’t see him.

Also, I still don’t believe for half of a second that Sip hasn’t locked down the punting job. Did Marshall decide he knew how to punt all of a sudden?
