Hurts and Tua: a tale of deceit and betrayal

Exactly how Saban handled it, and he let Hurts daddy know before the season started.  He told them he was playing Jalen every game and he’d be a team player, help be a leader, split practice reps 50/50 and he’d again compete for a championship.  He can either take the training under Dan Enos, get better, show his skills when given the opportunity on one of the most analyzed, highlighted teams, do his part on a championship level team or he can leave.  But Saban was not going to alter the plan he had for his team and their success all because his 26-2 QB chose to use the leverage of red-shirting and leaving.

But what about the death-threats?

There were times I thought Gary Danielson would leave his wife for him.

Nope. Danielson is waiting for Terry Saban to kick over. But he’ll have his hands full fending off Pawwwwwl.

Here's a thought.  What if Jalen red shirts at Bama next year?  Tua is gone after next season, so Jalen could start again in 2020 quite easily.

Probably the younger "tua" is next in line and there is another hot shot passing QB on their recruiting list.   JMO but would be high risk for Jalen to roll the dice that he could win the job back in two years....and what's in it for him to wait that long?

Someone suggested UF as his next destination....seems that he and Mullen would be a good match...

Jalen would get more time working on hos biggest deficiency (pocket passing) under their new O-coordinator who is running a more sophisticated, NFL style pass scheme.  Would potentially help his draft stock a ton.

Hard to believe at this present moment that Jalen has more TD passes than Stidham.

Not when you compare the surrounding talent. uat’s walk-on QB would have the same record.

Daddy got paid...players leaving everywhere. Daddy who was speaking out suddenly got silent couple weeks ago. $$$...bama plays by a different set of rules than everyone else. Its so obvious.

Yep. They gave him something more than he already received to compensate for the lost status. The nickatator was sure that Jalen would be the next Cam Newton and it didn't work out. Now all the hounds-tooth eggs are in the Tua basket.
