They seem to think something is happening soon. They’ve tweeted “stay tuned” and “just wait on it.” Could just be them being confident, but they’ve both tweeted it tonight after “recruiting” Jones on twitter for a little while. We shall see.

So far we've had five linebackers committed  in this class. Three of those flipped and now it's possible that a fourth is wavering. Recipe for disaster.

Cam Riley isn’t wavering. He just liked the idea of potentially taking other visits but it looks like our staff is shutting that down. And we lost to LB commits. The third was a book in Quan Robinson. In most cases in our system bucks are DEs not LBs.

I’m not even remotely getting my hopes up unless we hear from Keith or Jeffrey Lee that Auburn has a real shot.

The Cam Riley situation sounds better. Lets hope he signs Wednesday. So, instead of losing three LB's we've lost two LB's and a buck. Still is pretty much a recipe for disaster. That old statistic about 90% of committed guys signing with their original school is slip-sliding away, in Auburn's case anyway.

Thanks E for all your work! What a well formatted post which takes a tremendous amount of time.

I know this is an agitating question you answer continually each recruiting cycle but how many are we looking to take this class? Can't seem to recall.

With 20 already committed (though Buskey is likely an academic issue) it seems like there aren't too many spots remaining (maybe 6 at most) and we usually reserve 2 or so for a Grad Transfer right?

Is Buskey still a take if we land Flax. Would we sign 4 JUCO OTs? Replacing Cohen with Broderick Jones would be an upgrade in several ways. Looking like OL class may end up much better than most of us thought a month ago.

If we don't feel we can land a high school OT that's worth a scholarship, then we would take Flax and an eligible Buskey. Worst case scenario, it's easier to move inside as an OL than it is to move outside (other than Center which is a unique position).

If it becomes apparent Buskey will be eligible he's a take regardless.

If this all plays out according to plan we could have a surplus of OTs (very unusual). I guess Trox and Ham could move inside. Strange times. I noticed until a few days ago UGA had 4 high profile HS OTs committed. Braun has already decommitted and Jones might be next. Recruiting and coaching carousel makes for a wild ride.

Per 247 Bro-Hamm appears to have anchored down RT. Trox is progressing well & has moved to LT because of Bro-Hamm at RT. Trox or others could move but Bro-Hamm likely ain't barring a bigger need happens inside.

I think we could realistically add:

Jeremiah Pegues, Jeremy Flax, McKinnley Jackson, Desmond Tisdol, and Brian George (man what a class)

That would put us up to 24 without Buskey. Not particularly sold on taking a 2nd quarterback unless we can't land a Buck/DT/OL that's better. After the above five I probably just take the best available or grad transfers.

Dallas Walker may be more likely than Jackson right now.

Also I'm starting to get concerned about George. He said Sunday he would commit this week when he got up with his video guy. Not a peep since. Similar to after the picnic this Summer. He said he was committing the next week & went radio silent for a long time.

In every class we have a 3* who ends up being really really good we see a few on this years defense.  Who is your prediction for the 3* who will shine in this class.  Mine is one of the players who committed early this year Daniel Foster-Allen I think he will be a very good D-Lineman.

Yes Yes Yes. Love the guys that are under-rated and fly under the radar to blossom into beast mode. I like your pick. I am going to go the Offensive route and choose Tate Johnson OG. I like him, I think he has a chip on his shoulder. He is going to have to work his way through a crowded group at OG ....but I think by 21 or 22 he will be a really good piece on our OL.

@AuburnNTexas Of course you are. He's the only 3* defensive commit in the class. lol I'll go with Dallas Walker to be different if we land him.

For offense I'll go with Flax because he almost has to be.
