Hugh Freeze Is Off The Table

He has taken the OC job with the Arizona team in the Alliance of American Footbal League.

How is he off the table? If we wanted him, he’d jump at the first opportunity to come on board.

Actually, he has been off the table.  The SEC has to approve of all coaching hires by SEC teams.  IMO, he has a few more years before he would be approved.

According to little-known SEC bylaw 19.8.12, schools in the SEC must consult with Sankey before offering a job to any coach "who has engaged in unethical conduct as defined under NCAA Bylaws or who has participated in activity that resulted, or may result, in a Level I, Level II or major infraction."

 

So after this year, he very well may be back into the game.
